PADI Divemaster - Internship



The PADI Divemaster Internship here at Scuba Life Malta is another way to achieve your first level of the PADI Professional ratings. As a PADI Divemaster you will hold the minimum rating for employment in the diving industry. Your qualification will allow you to supervise recreational diving activities (either boat or land based), work as an Instructional Assistant on PADI courses and is just one step away from a PADI Instructor rating. 


During your Internship you will spend 12 weeks with us where you learn the ropes of the day to day running of a dive centre. You will also get dedicated time each week where we go through workshops and skills. You will work 6 days out of 7. Make sure you use your day off to relax. 


You will need to arrange your own accommodation and spending money. You will pay for your Divemaster Crewpak which we can arrange for you. Once you successfully complete your Internship you will be responsible for paying PADI your fees.


Minimum age: 18 years.

Diver Prerequisites: Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver. 

Logged 40 scuba dives. 

Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. 

Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months. 

At time of certification you must have: Logged at least 60 scuba dives.

Duration: 12 Weeks.
