Cirkewwa Arch

The Arch used to be a cave until the roof collapsed. What is now left behind is a lovely porous rock arch. Ask us to make it rain backwards for you. The sand on the bottom of the arch is 18m, the top of the arch is 12m.

P29

Scuttled on 14th August 2007 at Cirkewwa for divers. With resident Moray Eels, Scorpion fish and a vast number of smaller fish which bring in the Jack, Mackerel and Dentex. On the way to and from the wreck, look out for little sting rays in the sand. Photographer: David Jones

Tugboat Rozi

The Tugboat Rozi was scuttled in 1992, Captain Morgan used to have a submarine trip at Cirkewwa and would take people to see the Rozi. She sites on the sand at 35m, is approx 40m long and is fairly close to The Arch and Adrian’s Reef.

HMS Maori

The HMS Maori is a WWII shipwreck. Originally sunk in Grand Harbour she was moved to St Elmo’s Bay where she now rests up against the reef in a maximum of 14m. Cuttlefish, Octopus, Moray Eels, Nudibranch are commonly seen here.

Blue Hole

Putting your mask on and looking below you into the Blue Hole is amazing! This dive used to take you under the breathtaking Azure Window but now you now swim over or through what used to be above the waves! Simply Stunning!

Inland Sea

This great dive site starts in a shallow ‘Inland Sea’ where you descend a couple of meters then swim into the tunnel. The tunnel is 80m long and starts after a little drop off at 6m and goes all the way to approx 25m when it reaches the open sea.

Tug Boat 2

Tug 2 was sunk as a dive attraction in 2012 near Exiles. My photo was taken when she was first scuttled. She now has more life on her and has moved position right up to the reef after a 2016 storm

P31

The P31 was scuttled in 2009 to make a Wreck site for the not so experienced diver. She lies on the seabed in 21m of water near Comino. Just like the P29 she is 52m in length and was used as a mine sweeper. A great dive.

Santa Marija Caves

The Santa Marija and Zorro Caves are in shallow waters on the Island of Comino. This is a boat dive that we either team up with P31 or Lantern Point. A great fun day out on a traditional Maltese Luzzu.

MV Cominoland

A little further away from the entry point and close to the MV Karwela is the MV Cominoland, like the Karwela she lies in about 40-42m. A lovely wreck to have a swim through for a qualified deep diver, especially on EANX.

Um El Faroud

She was in the dry docks when there was an explosion that killed 9 of the dock workers. She was scuttled as a dive site in Sept 1998. She is sitting in 35m of water, 110m in length and is split in two after a servere storm took hold of her. Photographer: David Jones

Ghar Lapsi

Ghar Lapsi is another favourite , very pretty reef and white sand makes this a stunning dive site. The caves are breathtaking when the sun shines through all the slits. With a maximum of 14-18m depending on which route we take this is a site suitable for all.
