Guided Diving
Any booking for guided diving must be secured by a 10% deposit.
The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 48 hours prior to your booking.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking the deposit will not be refunded.
The current exception to this is if your travel is cancelled due to a change Covid restrictions and is on a case by case basis at the discretion of the management.

Courses
For any PADI course or experience you will need to pay for the eLearning upfront to secure your booking, this deposit is to cover the cost of the online learning that we purchase from PADI for you. The amount can vary per course but you will be advised on the amount at the time of booking. Once the monies have been received by us, the booking will be secured and the online learning will be assigned to you. Once the online learning has been activated by you it can not be returned or refunded as it now belongs to you and can not be ‘reused’. Therefore any cancellations after this means you will forfeit the monies paid for the online learning materials.

Additional days for Courses
Each PADI course takes a certain amount of days to complete. If you require extra time to complete the course you will be charged at a daily rate on top of the course fees. The daily fee you will be charged is an extra €125 per day.

Medicals
You will have to fill out a registration form and medical questionnaire. If you are over 60 or answer yes to any of the questions on the medical then you will need to be signed as fit to dive by a Doctor. This medical will be at your own expense. You will not be able to dive until you have the medical signed.

Check dive
If you have not dived with us before or have not dived for at least 6 months the first dive you do in your dive pack will be a check dive. Making sure you are happy and confident in the water, happy with your kit, happy with us and we are happy that you are comfortable enough for the rest of your dives we have planned with you.

Dives per day.
We do a minimum of 2 dives per day, we do not do single dives. If you would like to do any extra dives, these need to be arranged in advance with management.

Pick up / Meeting times
We meet in the morning between 0700 and 0800, depending on the dives we are doing that day and where we are meeting. We offer pick ups from Mellieha, St Paul’s Bay, Bugibba and Qawra, the furthest away will be picked up first. This will be arranged with definite times a little nearer the day of diving.

Missed / cancelled dives
If you decide on the day not to do a dive for any choice/fault of your own you will still have to pay for the missed dives, reasons may include, tired, hungover etc.

If you turn up hungover / smelling of alcohol or drunk you will not be able to dive that day and you will still pay for the missed dives. If you have any alcohol in-between dives you will not be allowed back in the water that day.

If we have to cancel any dives due to staff being sick or the weather turning and we are unable to dive somewhere safe you will not be charged for the dives.

Scuba Life Malta Equipment
Any and all of our equipment that you use / hire is your responsibility! If you lose or damage the kit you will be responsible for paying for it to be fixed or replaced.
